Newton Township Fall Clean-up

and Waste Collection

One Day Fall Clean-Up, E-Waste, and Appliance collection for residents of unincorporated Newton Township at the Township Administration Building, 4410 Newton Falls-Bailey Road

Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or until bins are full)

Electronic items/appliances accepted for proper disposal include televisions/monitors, computers, laptops/tablets/ipads, DVD players, cell phones, printers/scanners/copiers, small appliances, cords & cables, batteries, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, freezers, and microwaves. Scrap and household items that are no longer of use also accepted. You must bring help to unload heavy items.
Absolutely NO hazardous waste (propane tanks, paint, chemicals, solvents, light bulbs, etc.), garbage, daily trash, business waste or construction materials.
NO TIRES WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THIS EVENT.
Drop offs after event hours are prohibited.
ID required for proof of residency.
There will be a limit on one pickup truck load of debris, scrap, and unusable items per household.

TAKE NOTICE that the Trumbull County Board of Health has determined that the structures on the above properties are Unfit for Human Habitation, and the Board of Trustees of Newton Township has determined that the structures are unsafe and a nuisance and MUST BE

DEMOLISHED pursuant to Ohio Revised Code $505.86.

 

Unless within 20 days of this notice you request a hearing, the Board will abate these nuisances by having the structures demolished and the debris removed, and the costs certified to the County Auditor to be placed as a lien against the real property.
